An easy walk which leads to breathtaking views!

The GET, Great Elba Trek, connects the island through a network of trails and pathways and is very close to Casa Corsi. After a few minutes walk towards Procchio, you reach the ruins of a windmill, Il Mulino di Colle reciso. It's strategic position enjoys views of the whole Elba, including our small farm!

The opposite direction leads to Santa Lucia, the ancient site of a fortress dominating the bay of Portoferraio.

We could not resist photographing our little piece of island!

Please beware of vipers, they do roam around at this time of year. The one in the picture had just bitten a lizzard and was waiting for the poison to act.
